3M™ Scotchcast™ resin joint kits LVI-2/X, LVI-2/X-PTU and LVI-2/X-PT15 are designed to be used with multi core armoured polymeric cables. The application incorporates electrical insulation and mechanical protection of joints for use with either compression or mechanical connectors. They can be used for indoor and outdoor, underground and submerged applications.
Inline resin joint kits will be delivered with a one part transparent mould body for simple and easy handling. Distances inside the body can be checked easily. All necessary dimension, like application range, and cable preparation are given in detailed instructions.
